What are profit participation rights?
Economic participation without voting rights – modern and digital.
Profit participation rights are a flexible form of company participation where an investor shares in the economic success of a company without receiving traditional shareholder rights.
The profit participation rights issued via beel give the investor an economic position comparable to that of an actual shareholder. This means: they receive liquidation proceeds, exit proceeds, dividends, as well as a put option (conversion right). The put option can be excluded depending on the contract terms.
This makes profit participation rights a modern, digital form of participation – economically almost identical to actual equity, but with significantly less administrative effort.
